Thanks to our new Foundation officers
This is volunteerism at its best, folks.  O.P. Rotary elected new board officers for the coming year, and promoted a few others.  Know what's amazing?  Some of these long-term members continue to give and give of their time and attention, and some of the newer members are jumping right in.

Thank you to: President -  Bruce Robb, Treasurer - Debra Hallauer and Secretary -  Katie Lord
Take your sweetie to a great evening out!  FREE!
Watch for announcement at next week's lunch about how to enter and win two FREE tickets to this!  Join the Rotary group for a fun evening out.

Neil Berg's '100 Years of Broadway'

Neil Berg's '100 Years of Broadway'

8 p.m., May 13, 2017 | Yardley Hall

$23 - $38 Individual Tickets Season Ticket Package

Give your regards to "100 Years of Broadway," Neil Berg's widely acclaimed musical revue.

"100 Years of Broadway" recreates the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the actual stars of shows such as "The Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables," "CATS," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and "Jekyll & Hyde." These amazing performers light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling numbers from some of Broadway's newest hit shows.

Host some Rotary visitors this summer!

International Camaraderie -- here's your chance!

District 5710 is joining our fellow Rotarians in Missouri for a special event called "Out of Africa - Into Kansas City," which will immediately follow the Rotary International Convention in Atlanta. On June 16 & 17, 2017, more than a hundred Rotarians from Africa will convene in Kansas City, for a time of fellowship and to celebrate the Centennial of our Rotary Foundation, which started in Kansas City!

Rotarian "hosts" are needed to help welcome these visitors to our area! Please see the attached flyer for ways that you can get involved, and visit the website www.outofafrica.rotary13.org  for more details.

Kansas Leadership Center Grants

Want to take your career, your professional development, or your civic involvement to a higher level?  Or know a friend or colleague who does?

Our Rotary club still has a couple dozen grants for friends of our members to attend leadership training at this superior institute in Wichita.  Session dates are offered throughout the year, ranging from 2 1/2 day sessions to 7-day sessions.  To learn more or to avail yourself of this significant grant, go to www.kansasleadershipcenter.org or talk to President Trish.
Let's go jam with Garry Mac!

Our own Garry Mac and his Atlantic Express will be playing at Knuckleheads on Friday, Feb. 10th!  Let's warm up the winter and get a group together. I hear Garry's group responds well to song requests if you bat your eyelashes ... (just don't ask him to sing a solo...)
