Kansas City Day – Service Project and Fundraiser – Friday, May 13th
This year, KC Day continues to be for the benefit of Rotary Youth Camp, a special place for disadvantaged / disabled youth. One minor change: 20% of proceeds from our Club’s sales will help fund Flourish Furnishings – Kansas City’s only furniture bank dedicated to helping lift families out of homelessness.

KC Day is on opening day of the KC Monarchs, which is Friday, May 13th - we will be selling an official team baseball hat and a voucher for two tickets to an upcoming game (grandstand seats that sell for $15 apiece).

We will need your help selling. Currently, we’re determining what the best venues will be to solicit donations. We’re considering grocery stores. Last year we sold at the Sprint Campus, and we’re looking into that again this year. Also, we can sell on social media (more to come on that).

We need your help buying. Are you a baseball fan?  Do you know any baseball fans?

Rotary Outing. Friday, June 17th is a 7pm home game. The Monarchs will be playing the hated Milwaukee Milkmen in a long awaited grudge match.  Not only is it Foodtruck Friday, but it’s also Skydriver Day, which we assume to be jump out of an airplane and land in Legend’s Field Day.  And It’s Juneteenth. Let’s all use our ticket vouchers and sit together and party!
