Exciting news!! The Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees announced earlier this week they will be reviewing the addition of Environment as a new Area of Focus for Rotary. You have an opportunity to make a difference by completing a survey which will be used to provide input for the Board of Trustees in making their decision. The deadline is January 31.
I would also encourage you to take a few minutes to read the ESRAG position paper in support of adding a unique Area of Focus for the Environment. Please also consider membership in ESRAG.
Please consider joining our Club as it delivers books for distribution to children in coordination with the Abilene Rotary Club and the Eisenhower Museum. He will be coordinating travel plans so that we can get our members to the museum to support this service opportunity. Plans will include an opportunity to visit the newly renovated Eisenhower Museum. Should be an interesting and informative road trip.
