2026 CRAWFISH FESTIVAL

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Crawfish Festival and its long history of giving back to our local community. As Sponsorship Chair, I’m asking each club member to tap into your personal network and help us identify businesses or individuals who may be willing to support this year’s event as a sponsor.

Our most successful sponsorships come from personal connections. A warm introduction from you to a business owner or professional contact is far more effective than a cold call.

How you can help
Please identify three to five contacts—local business owners or individuals—and share the sponsorship opportunities with them.
Sponsorship levels range from:

  • Copper Sponsor ($250) – helping provide tutoring for a youth in care
  • Diamond Sponsor ($10,000) – supporting CASA staff positions

Thank you for helping make this 25th-anniversary Crawfish Festival our most successful one yet!

There will be a donation box at the meeting sign-in table if you would like to donate.
Thank you!

New Opportunity for Mandy

Mandy Sheldon will begin a new phase of her career with a full-time position at Rural Water District #7 starting in April. She will step back from her role as our full-time Rotary Club Administrator on April 3, but will continue to support the Overland Park Rotary Club with membership billing and financial reports for the time being. Please congratulate Mandy on her new opportunity. We are grateful for the support Mandy has provided to our Rotary Club and will certainly miss her. We will look for a replacement for Mandy immediately, so any Rotarians who are aware of a candidate interested in a part-time administrative role for our Club, please advise Barry Sullivan or Bill Flohrs.
