KC Metro Rotarians Need Your Project Ideas!
Unusual Oppportunity to Impact all of Kansas City
A committed group of area Rotarians are representing a planning committee to develop an event to replace Kansas City Day.  We need you to think about a project that would:
Meet a broad KC need (not just specific to a single community); is sustainable; builds connections between Rotarians and the broader community; fits within one (or more) of Rotary’s 6 areas of focus; has measurable results; and is repeatable on some schedule.
Scratch your head, come up with your thoughts, and pass them along to committee member Trish Reedy.

FAMILY OF ROTARY
Long-time member Gerry Ray and her husband have multiple health issues, are mostly home bound, and have moved to a retirement home.  Their new address is:
17509 W. 119th St. Apt. 2103
Olathe KS 66061-9525
Phone 913/381-1807
She was happy to accept the offer of a newly printed club directory, since she doesnt often get on a computer these days, and says "Hello to all, I miss this club very much."
We miss you as well, Gerry.

Did you see Mick Lerner at the meeting last week?  You're looking good, Mick!
Another Immunotherapy/chemotherapy story currently ongoing is with Wayne Byrd, who claims he is so positive about outcomes that he is planning to enter the cycling event in the fall for the Kansas Senior Olympics.  Now there's a positive attitude!

Patrick, this calls for a speaker who can update us on the advances in immunotherapy, right?  Who can bring us a qualified expert to speak?

Life puts little obstacles in our paths sometimes...uneven pavement, detours, or a Yield sign. If a fellow Rotarian has hit a rough road, please let the Family know about it. carolwattsks@gmail.com
