JOCO NEIGHBORS NEED OUR HELP

OUR FRIENDS AT THE CHRISTMAS BUREAU WILL NEED A BOOST IN THIS DIFFICULT YEAR.

Here's info about how to be that booster!

This year's Johnson County Christmas Bureau Holiday of Hope Benefit will be a virtual event. That means our entire Rotary Club can attend! What a fun way to support JCCB while social distancing and provide warmth and sustenance to over 12,000 low income neighbors. What could be better?

Barb Kopack Hill and hubby Ed are planning to invite a couple of neighbors, enjoy our dinners prepared by PLAZA Catering (reservations must be placed by September 25th to have them delivered to your home), a bottle of wine, enjoy the short program, enjoy the entertainment, participate in the on line auction, and support a worthy cause!

NOTE: If you are a bit competitive and want to help our club earn bragging rights, let's see if we can have the most representation from OP Rotary. (Other Rotary clubs think they have a chance - we'll show them).

To attend, there are three options this year:

1. Become a sponsor

2. Purchase a dinner ticket

3. Purchase a ticket without a dinner

SEPTEMBER IS EVIDENTLY "LOWER EXTREMITIES" MONTH....?!

Here it is, another limping Rotarian, as Janee Hanzlick undergoes some fairly extensive foot surgery this Friday, Sept. 18.

With a 4 - 6 week recovery time, we are curious to see how Ms. Hyperactivity copes with a more sedate schedule.

Janee, we grocery shop! We cook! We run errands! Please don't be bashful about asking for help, ok?
