In case you missed it, here is a special message from President-Elect Laurie McCormack about upcoming meetings: Happy New Year! As we head into 2022, I'm pleased to remind everyone that, back by popular demand, we are heading to the Doubletree Hotel starting Monday, January 10! We certainly hope some of our members who have been unable to attend our meetings due to the distance to Matt Ross will be able to join us now. I know we're excited to welcome them back! As extra precaution due to the uptick in COVID-19 positive cases in Johnson County and the concerns of some of our members, we have asked the Doubletree to put only four seats at each table of eight. We encourage mask wearing when not actively eating, but that is not required. I know we're all hopeful this latest variance will start to burn out soon and we can relax again. A reminder that this will be a plated meal with a salad, entre, vegetable, starch, coffee and iced tea -- no buffet.
