Our Club is participating in the Greater KC Rotary fundraiser for Rotary Youth Camp. For a $20 donation, we have been offering a Monarch’s baseball cap, and a voucher good for two seats to any Monarch’s game of your choosing. There is plenty of inventory still available for purchase. (The cap alone is easily worth $20. While the seats are far down the foul line in the outfield, a small upcharge of $3 gets you near the infield. Parking is free). Our Club has reserved a block of seats for the Friday, June 17th at 7pm game against the Milwaukee Milkmen. It’s Food Truck Friday, and a “parachutist” is going to jump out of a plane and land in the infield. The seats are in Section 111 which is near the 1st base bag. Rows 1, 2, 3, and 4. There are plenty of seats available. Bring your spouse, kids, grandkids and anyone else who would like to join you. Your $20 donation provides you with admission for two. David Austin is coordinating the ticket reservations for June 17th, so reserve your seats from him.

Here are some members of the crew that helped hand out personal care products on Monday, May 23rd at KCK Community College for a 4-hour shift. Thank you!
The Overland Park Rotary Foundation is pleased to announce the second year of the Senator Richard Bond Memorial Scholarship program. Through these scholarships, it our goal to celebrate young people who have a passion for service and who plan to pursue or are pursuing higher education. This also helps introduce high schoolers to Rotary through their high school Interact program with a strong focus on community service.
