The Shawanoe Elementary Running Club will have their graduating Mile Run event next Wednesday, May 15 at 5:00PM. Shawanoe School Nurse Kim Martin has invited our Rotarians to attend the event and cheer on the students, since the Foundation provided a grant to fund the cost of running shoes and tee shirts. The school had 80 students enrolled in the program this spring. Come to Shawnee Mission Northwest High School at 4:30PM: 12701 W 67th St, Shawnee, KS. The track is located south of the back parking lot (west side of school). Wear your Rotary shirt or hat as weather permits.
