Marc Shaffer is helping promote the Third Annual Run for the Roses, a Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser benefiting Growing Futures Early Education Center, taking place Saturday, May 2nd at Hallbrook Country Club. 🏇Marc and his wife Bridgette are serving as this year’s Grand Marshals. Marc has been involved with Growing Futures for several years and currently serves on the Board, with plans to step into the role of Board President this July. The organization provides high-quality early education, family support, and essential services to vulnerable children and families throughout Johnson County. 🎓
The Derby-themed event will feature live race viewing, food and drinks, auctions, and community celebration while raising funds to support early childhood education programs that help children enter kindergarten ready to succeed. 💯
To learn more, purchase tickets (join Marc in the fun!), or support the event by making a donation, visit his Run for the Roses Fundraising Page. His goal is to personally raise $50,000 for this cause! 💰
