Human Trafficking Problem in Kansas
![]() For over 40 years, I worked as an Educational Psychologist. My specialty was Psychometrics and I concentrated my career on occupational testing, initially in civil service testing, and most of career in licensing and certification. The first part of my career I worked for the Illinois Dept. of Personnel preparing civil service tests. Then I spent 2 years in the Philadelphia area while I worked for the federal government as a regional psychologist overseeing federal (IPA) grants to state governments in the Mid-Atlantic region related to civil service and EEOC testing. For the next 4 years I worked for the Educational Testing Service in Princeton NJ developing licensing and certification exams for several national clients. In 1985 I accepted a job with one of my ETS clients in Lenexa which expanded from preparing one major healthcare group’s examinations to helping our company develop exams for 80 different occupations. I retired at the end of 2015 and I wanted to find opportunities for service projects. I joined the Rotary Club of Lenexa in 2016. I have held the following positions - Vice-President, President Elect and President, Foundation Chair, and the Anti Human Trafficking (AHT) Committee Chair. I am now serving as the District 5710 Chair for the AHT Committee and am on the the District 5710 AHT Board. I am also an associate member of the Community Action Against Human Trafficking (CAAHT) Rotary e-club. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, making sawdust, and occasionally fishing in Canada. |
